SHEEPWIRE I, II, III
These rolls of sheep wire are elements found in the landscape within which I work , Dún Chaocháin , Erris Co Mayo, and its Environs.
The shape and forms of the wire both compliment and contrast the environment which is open, and wild. A Special Area of Conservation of Peat Bogland, at the junction of the high sea cliffs and the Atlantic.
Elemental in the workings of the landscape, sheep wire defines areas, confines animals, protects land from grazing .Present everywhere, visible and invisible simultaneously.
